Syntax

Delphi:

function ByteRead() : PByte;

C++ Builder:

PByte __fastcall ByteRead();

Visual C++ (MFC):

ByteRead();

Summary

Returns read only pointer to the buffer data.

Description

Use this method when you need to access data for reading only. Do not modify the data via this pointer, as it will result in unexpected behavior of the application, and potentially even crashes! If you need to modify the data, use Write or Modify instead!

Example:

var RawData : Pointer;

RawData := SomeBuffer.ByteRead();
